Re: my bissell proheat 2 soap disspencer dumps soap to...
1699 Series - Had it fixed twice already. Everytime we go to use it, the sprayer will not work. It has cost us $50.00 each time to have it fixed. This time the place told us just to get rid of it, as this is a continueus issue. It has to do with the heating element lines getting clog up.
Can you et us some instructions to fix it ourselves. Hat to throw all this money down the drain.
Is it possible to get a pictorial view of the internal parts.

i have some bad news for you. when using soap not recommended by the manufacture, and you use the machine and use another type of soap or cleaner after you do not run water through the machine to clean the tube and sprayer out of soap the soap drys up and kluges the tubes and the sprayer, and you have to take it to be repaired or buy a new machine. i can test to that the hard way i loaned mine out and it was returned dirty and soap was dried up inside the tube and jets, look at the tube if you see dried up bubbles than the machine needs to be repair and service, service center , sew and vac one place vacuum dealer
order the part from bissel see if that fixes sound like you know what wrong just need get part number from bissell. Could be some kinda pump also thats bad not pushing out the water. I got bissle heated one black it only problem the seals rot out the soap dispencer. if you want be cheeper on washing things you can water down dish soap ore laudry deterget on there unit and cost allot less 17 bucks for bottle soap water
These are two different problems the first could be a clogged heater soap coagulates in the heater passages and clogs the flow of water to see if this is indeed the problem turn the unit on and try and spray water with the top trigger (floor nozzle) then try to spray at the hand nozzle if you get water at the hand nozzle but not the floor nozzle it is the heater. The hand nozzle water bypasses the heater. Also check the solution or soap tank if you pull it out and there is not red seal on the bottom it may be stuck in the machine and won't create a good seal check to see if it is still in the hole where the tank inserts. As for the unit not turning on that could be a number of issues cord, switch or just over heated. Visit www.stevessewandvac.com for any parts or questions about this machine or any other.
This could be due to dried out soap in the works below the dispenser. Try cleaning the hole, putting plain water in the soap dispenser to clean it out further.
You could just put some soap in with the water. Be sure to run lots of rinse water through afterward to clean out the heating unit.
