Google has many different ip addresses. They have servers I guess you call them everywhere. I downloaded several apps that looked up IP addresses cause the ping had different ones I didn't use. They all led back to GooGle owning that address. Nothing to be alarmed about, theres just no escape from Google, they see everything, track everywhere, and won a lot of different IP

SOURCE: WLAN having consistant high latency with frequent all-out fail

I would suggest borrowing a different known working wireless adapter, and test trying that. Or test using a wired connection, just to prove it is the adapter. Perhaps the wireless adapter you are using is flaky.

SOURCE: connection to linksys wrt300-n router drops

Try to Disconnect and Connect the Internet Manually in the Wireless Network Connection. Also this can be a problem with our Computer or Laptops Lan Card which may be having issues in connecting.

How do I set up the ecb350 as a repeater. I have an xfinity wifi that doesn't reach the whole house but I can connect with an Ethernet cable to the back of the ECB350 out in the area I need wifi acce

What are you using for your main router (xfinity wifi)? The best way is to set the ecb350 in AP Router Mode not a repeater since you have a rj45 cable long enough to go from one of the ports on the xfinity wifi router and hook it into the ecb350. You will need to know what your ip address range is for example if the xfinity is 192.168.1.1 then you want to assign a static address for the ecb350 to be 192.168.1.100 (assigned IP Address) You will also need the Subnet mask, Default Gateway IP Address, and Primary DNS and Secondary DNS of the xfinity wifi router. Then on the ecb350 you will need to configure the following with the info you go off the xfinity router:

Static IP Internet Connection Type Select Static IP to begin configuration of the Static IP connection. Account Name Leave Blank Domain Name Leave Blank MTU Auto IP Address ie: 192.168.1.100 (assigned IP Address) IP Subnet Mask Specify the subnet mask of your Xfinity Router Gateway IP Address Specify the gateway of your Xfinity Router Primary DNS Specify the primary DNS server's IP address of your Xfinity Router Secondary DNS Specify the secondary DNS server's IP address of your Xfinity Router Discard Ping on WAN Check to Enable to recognize pings on the ECB350 WAN interface or Disable to block pings on the ECB350 WAN interface. Note: Pinging IP addresses is a common method used by hackers to test whether the IP address is valid. Blocking pings provides some extra security from hackers. Accept / Cancel Click Accept to confirm the changes or Cancel to cancel and return previous settings. Note: Clicking Accept does not apply the changes. To apply them, use Status > Save/Load Hope that this help you.

Not recognize dns

Hi mate, you might want to change your DNS server to google DNS or openDNS. They both are fast, responsive and robust. Do you know how to do it?
1. Open you web router management
2. Under Network > WAN tab, make sure you enable this option and change the primary and secondary DNS server to the ones below, they are google DNS. Save it and reboot. Hope this helps

My router disconnect frequently

Question: the connection to router disconnects OR the internet disconnects,
If router disconnect: then try being in range, choose a better spot, keep router in a good spot,
If internet disconnects, cal ISP get it checked, make sure you run ping test to make sure its consistent , here is an example,
E.g:
open run: type cmd, hit enter,
type : ping google.com -t
hit enter, it should give regular pings without timeouts....if too many timeouts, internet service has issues,
call them and report..

Need help on my TP-LINK TL-WR740N 150Mbps Wireless Lite N Router. just finished its setup then i notice that i can't access a certain website.

Here's a GuessYa. Make sure you have the correct and exact DNS servers. If you screw them up, you'll be able to get cached pages, but new pages or functions will crash. It's a funny thing when you find it for the first time :-)

Cant access internet but can connect to wireless TP-link router

Your friend is able to go online using the same wireless network. that means the wireless network is working properly and there might be a problem with your computer .
You said that you can connect to the wireless network but you can not go online.
Check the IP address and the default gateway of the computer.
Try to ping the router and DNS server and check what happens.
Make sure that there is no static IP address on the computer.

Click Here for more information about the routers and Internet.

Brother MFC-7840W won't connect to gmail. DNS resolution error.

I'm pretty sure that the problem (though the machine indicating otherwise) is that gmail requires SSL, and the Scan to Email (server) doesn't support SSL. If this is the problem, you can easily check it out by trying to use some other mail, with another SMTP server, which doesn't require SSL.
