Emerson 900W microwave does not work or do anything

The light is off. No clock display. None of the buttons work. It worked fine for 1.5 years and I programmed it and hit "Start" last night and all of the lights went out (on the microwave only) and it will not do anything now. Breaker not tripped. Toaster works in the same outlet.

pls check fuse replace with since there were no noises seems pretty straight forward

i believe majority of emerson got programmin ERROR intheir KEYPAD.. my emerson microwave got similar issue ..its a brand new one abt few monts old..it started actin weird way ..its keypad wont work..tried many thing unplug it pluge it back in everthing tht necessary..but still keypad is locked..no not the child procted locked..it locked with a digits 00.00 ...sometimes it work sometimes it dont...so no clue wat to do ...

Pressing the Clear/Pause button works. Sometimes. Most of the time, about a microsecond after pressing Clear/Pause, it goes right back to def1. Most of the time, pressing ANY button doesn't work. Usually takes me 10 to 20 tries to get anything to work. My microwave is about 3 months old. I will never buy Emerson again.

How to stop the beeper and reset the "code' light on panel?

You have a shorted 2 pad on the keypad.

Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

I have an Emerson Microwave Oven MW8997W and cannot change the hour (time) on my clock. How do I change the clock? Debbie

If your keys do not work at all, you probably have a bad keypad, in which case I'd ask you to reply back. In the meantime:

SETTING THE CLOCK

When the microwave oven is plugged into an outlet,
the oven will display " 0:00 "

1. Press the CLOCK button; the hour digit will blink
and the clock indicator will light.

2. Press the number keys to set current hour.

3. Press the number keys to set current minute.

4. Press AM/PM to choose AM or PM.

5. Press the CLOCK button again; the display will
show the present time. After the clock has been set,
the time will appear with blinking colon, unless
the oven is cooking or defrosting.
