I have come to this conclusion and when you go looking for help all they can do is charge you $10 and tell you that they can maybe fix it.

It seems that it is very difficult to find help from RCA. Most drivers and manuals are not available for MP3 players, and the ones that are, don't help very much and are often very generic. RCA, among other brands make disposable MP3 players that short of changing a battery or resetting it, there is nothing else that can be done. Warranty is the most important thing but when you have to send the defective unit off, they want money for shipping. I have heard of them returning your MP3 player as fixed and the minute you turn it on, it does not work. On here, we try to assist with many problems but MP3 players are often hard to diagnose as most are defective from the factory.
