It seems that it is very difficult to find help from RCA. Most drivers and manuals are not available for MP3 players, and the ones that are, don't help very much and are often very generic. RCA, among other brands make disposable MP3 players that short of changing a battery or resetting it, there is nothing else that can be done. Warranty is the most important thing but when you have to send the defective unit off, they want money for shipping. I have heard of them returning your MP3 player as fixed and the minute you turn it on, it does not work. On here, we try to assist with many problems but MP3 players are often hard to diagnose as most are defective from the factory.

What does the code po0068 on a corsa means

the readings the ECU is getting from the MAP + MAF sensors conflict, possibly a dirty MAF sensor (the one near the air box), if you are lucky? - buy an op-com setup from ebay (need a laptop also), much better than a crappy code scanner! - it tells you in english what the issue is!

Have ford mondeo 1999 --the radio/cd says locked 10 on the screen what can i do

Hi,

LOC 10 means that 10 incorrect codes have been entered into the radio and it is effectively locked down. Ford will attempt to charge you BIG money to resolve this. I recently had a customer who was quoted £250 by Ford for the very same issue who wanted to send the radio away to their technical dept. - can you believe that?

However, please view this link (click here) which

1) Tells you what you need to do to get a correct code for your radio.

2) If you make a personal request using their contact form they will tell you how to resolve LOC 10 in a few very simple steps for no extra charge.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Tried to down load music to player and kept getting msg: profiling requires 20MB free space, shutting down. Also on the RCA easy rip the player selection is in grey, ( not red like the other symbols) and...

from what you have described and what i have read on the rca technical forum. the problem seems to be a flash memory error or the slide lock is activated on the unit. Is the unit locked? if not it means the flash memory is no longer working or is intermittently working. There isnt much you can do on the consumer level. And with the price of the unit its not really worth paying to get repaired. I would suggest replacing the unit. From what i can tell rca charges 55$+ shipping to fix this error. If its under warranty they will fix it free of charge, as long as it has not been tampered with. If its not under warranty its up to you to decide is it worth paying 55$+shipping or buying a new unit. No one likes to hear this, But unfortunately that is the case.
I hope this helps you understand your problem. If you require further explanation or assistance i will be glad to provide it. Thanks and have a great day -Midwest-tek

I spent the last hour on the phone with tech support for my local cable company. after the duration, we came to the conclusion that there was in fact, not a space for the red, yellow and white chords....

Without seeing anything, the yellow=video, the red and white=audio. The yellow/video "output" of the cable box goes to the yellow/video "input" of the TV. The red and white are the audio that go from audio "output" of the cable box to the audio "input"of the TV. I don't know what the Cable company was telling you???? The cables are "RCA" and give you the worst clarity for a picture. If you cable box has three output ports colored Red, Green, and Blue ("Component') and you TV has the same three as inputs, that will make your picture much better. If you can hook it up with the component jacks, you will still need the audio RCA (red and white) between the two units. I hope this helps.

No sound coming from speakers

check the speaker connections for any short circuit and also for polarity.
check if mute is highlighted on the screen
check if the audio output of the player is properly connected (optical / coax or RCA
this should solve your problem
If not tell me your connection configuration with regard to input output.

Computer to Denon via Monster Headphone cable to V.Aux (Front) RCA inputs

Are you using a stereo-mini to RCA cable that has a red and a white RCA plug? What I mean is, you should have the one cable coming out of the headphone jack on the computer, and two (left and right) cables going to the receiver. The only other thing I can suggest is making sure the cables are tight. Maybe try another input on the receiver. There really shouldn't be any feedback unless there is some underlying problem.
