Just had same problem with mine, I wiggled/turned the lens a couple of times before turning it on, and it popped out of the stuck position and closed again. It's working - but clicking when I move the lens in or out.... :(

My polaroid i733 turns on the beeps 3 times then turns off when the sd card is in. i have tried formatting the card and camera but it still is not working any help

Had the same problem with our i733 Pink Polaroid. Beeps three times and then shuts off. The reason for this is that the lens is stuck in the partially open position. Because our camera was long past warranty and we bought it for $40 second hand I took the brute force approach. I grabbed hold of the lens and wiggled it from side to side while trying to pull it out (forcefully but being as careful as I could not to damage it) and then there was a small "pop" and the lens came out all the way and the camera was good to go again. Hope this helps.

Lens stuck open

hey, I had the same problem when I accidentally droped my camera, some parts in the mechanism are probably broken or jammed.

Most likely repairs required.

Samsung bl103 will turn on and beep 3 times then pauses and beeps 3 times again and the lens is stuck in the out position

Mine does the same thing. I open the battery door and close it back up. Then I push the power button and the lens will retract. When I turn it on afterwards it works fine. Mine does this quite often.

My samsung l830 camera lens is stuck open and when i press the power button it beeps 3 times and remains blue then does nothing

If the lens on the camera is stuck out, look to see if it's a little crooked. If it is, try to gently straighten it. If it still won't retract, try to gently push it in as you turn the power on.
If it won't turn on (the green light blinks and it beeps 3 times) push and hold the 'power' button and the 'play' button at the same time for a few seconds - it worked for my S730. Good luck!

Camera Stuck with lens out. Beeps

I dropped the camera on the table a couple of times, twisted the front of it. Suddenly the lens retracted into the camera, the beeping quit, and now I can take pictures again. The Samsung website is horrible.

Samsung Digimax S600 is stucked in off position

I've had this with a diff model of Samsumg (V10). The problem with mine was that the lens wasn't opening, which was causing the beeping. I held the camera with lens facing down and when I pressed the power button I lightly tapped the camera against the palm of my other hand. The lens extracted.

I have more problems with the lens now but that may have something to do with me dropping it later:(

Digimax samsung s500 beeps 3 times lens stuck wont stay on

Mine got stuck with lens out. The batteries were new so I never imagined it could be the batteries, but they were cheap ones so I recharged a pair of good ones and once I put tried them on it worked just fine again. Conclusion, the "new" cheap batteries had only enough energy to turn it on and then they couldn't give it enough energy to make it work anymore and that's why I couldn't retract the lens or even turn it off properly. So in your case, try using a couple of good and new batteries.
