This is a jpg of a modern board. Your board may have more pins. The concept is close. Any
difference would be
located at the Power led. Your's could be three pins & the speaker could be three pins & neither connector would use the middle hole. I suggest you plug in one connector at a time with a boot up in between. Start with the power switch. Testing is simple, press the case power on button. Pc starts your good no light? Turn the connector around & try again. Next plug in the IDE led. Check for light on power up. Most boards, old & new keep their negetive facing to your right. These negetive wires are colored black & wihte. Positive wires are colored green, blue & red. As long as you do 1 connector at a time you should not have a problem. These are all very low voltage, most just leds. Take your time. It will work out.
