Question about Goodman GMS90703BXA Heater
We are in the process of buying a house and we were out there last night working on the little things that the appraiser said needed to be fixed. Anyway, we have a Goodman Heater. Its about six months old. My husband says that it is a gas heater with an electric ignition. Anyway, my husband and father in law lit the furnace and it worked for about ten min. but then shut off. The temp, by the way, wasn't to where we set it. Anyway, they went and had to relight it. I know they read the owners manual and he said they cleaned a componant but I am not sure of the exact steps they took. He also said, if you are familiar with a Goodman Furnace, to let you know that it is Valt ( or Fault) #1 that is not staying lit. If you could help or give any suggestions, it would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
AA, it could be a lot of things going on or just one little thing. I have atached a link that you can open to get your owners manual for that furnace. Inside there is a diognostic troubleshooting guide that may help.
Good luck and let me know what you discovered.
