Be sure the the headset in in 'Pairing' mode.
When in pairing mode, the light should be flashing red and blue or have a steady blue.
The put most headsets in pairing mode, turn headset OFF, then hold the power button until it goes into pairing mode as discribed above.
Then you can discover it with your phone or PC. Pin (pass key) should be 0000 (4 Zeros) or try 1111, 1234, 9999

Get the FCCID off of the device and use this: http://www.fixya.com/support/r4964670-ge...

Here is an excerpt from the manual on putting it in pairing mode and the direct link to the full manual in case you want to print it out.

    ENSURE HEADSET IS IN PAIRING
    MODE
Remove headset from charging base and
power on by sliding Power switch to the On
position (towards Power symbol on headset).
The indicator light flashes to initiate easy
pairing. After a few moments, the indicator
light will be steadily lit in blue to indicate
    headset is in pairing mode.

My phone is saying that my H681 is undiscoverable and I have a solid blue light on the headset.

The solid blue light is pairing mode, so you are doing it right. Try shutting both the phone and the H681 off, and turning them back on. We had a similar problem with my girlfriend's new motorolla headset while pairing it to a samsung vibraint. It worked for us after we did that.

Misplaced manual for bluetooth Motorola h681 need the passkey

Your headset's passkey is '0000' (four zeros). I couldn't find its user guide, but the one for the H680, which happens to be very close to yours, can be found here.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Regards, Carlos

I need the passkey to install the bluetooth to my new phone, motorola H681

the default passkey for every bluetooth device is usually 1234. try it and let me know if it works. u have to pair it and enter the same passkey with your mobile/celfone.

I have a Motorola H681 that used to work fine, now i can still pair with my iPhone, and all buttons seem to work (volume, call button) but there's no audio. During a test call the iphone shows the volume...

I was having the same problem - I ended up just playing with it until it worked again. I found instructions on muting the H700, which is to tap both volume buttons at once. I did that a few times while on a call (I was actually listening to my voicemail), and then I hit the volume up button, and now it works. Not sure if something is loose inside and all I had to to was play around to get it back into place?
