Question about Yamaha GO46 Sound Card
I just bought a Yamaha GO46 yesterday. I want to use it with my Powerbook G4.
I followed all instructions but when I go to "Sound" in "preferences"
the only thing I can select is "built in audio" and "go 46" is not
visible or selectable.
The GO46 is visible in the "Systemprofile" window so I think the
device is not broken.
Is there some one who can help me out ?
Perhaps I need another driver ?
NOTE: My superdrive is broken so I had to install the "go 46 control
panel" with a driver from I downloaded from yamahasynth.com. Maybe
this has something to do with my problem ?
Hello. I had the same problem and solved by mere casuality. If you disconnect the AC power adaptor and let the Firewire connection to be the only power supplier, then the GO46 will be inmediately recognised by the "Preferences -> Sound" panel of the G4.
Hope I've been helpful. Bye.
