If it is a wall mounted thermostat, then you need to check the control box mounted on the inside of the unit. Remove the inner shroud to access. Check for power on the blue wire entering the control box from the thermostat, this is the high fan circuit. There should also be power on the orange(or tan) wire from the tstat. This is the fan circuit. Both these need to be hot with 12VDC for the fan to run on high. If you have power there, try removing the cover from the inside and access the squirrel cage (fan blade) inside the unit, turn the tstat to High fan and try starting the fan motor by hand. If it starts, then you have a bad fan capacitor. If not, check power to the fan on the top unit and all wiring leading to the fan. If you have power to the fan and it still does not run, you need a new fan motor.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

My dometic remote IR0101 seems to be working but the ac is not turning off when it reaches the differential. Any suggestions?

It sounds like your thermostat is stuck or your main contactor is stuck. Try shifting modes on your thermostat. If still stuck, try removing the thermostat, if the AC system did not stop it is your main contactor stuck and needs replaced. If your AC system stopped, it is your thermostat stuck and needs replaced.

Our new Dometic DM2852 will not stop running. Help!

Old solution from a forum but it get sense.
Citation: "It seems like there could be several possibilities:
1. Refrigerator is struggling to keep cool - maybe because of high outside temp, maybe bad seals, maybe other issues. Fan runs all the time because the back of the frig is hot.
2. Refrigerator is cooling ok, but fan runs all the time because there's poor ventilation on the back - maybe vents are blocked in some way.
3. Refrigerator is cooling ok, but fan runs all the time because it has a defective or improperly adjusted ventilation thermostat (that controls the fan).
4. Refrigerator is cooling ok, but fan runs all the time because Dometic did not include a thermostatic control on this model.

I'd suggest checking the manual or calling Dometic to ask about #4. If there is a thermostat controlling the fan, it may be covered under the Dometic warranty (which might be longer than 1 year)."

I have a rooftop ac unit on my popup that was replaced two years ago. The unit works fine but I would like the fan to shut off when the compressor isn't running. Is there a switch for putting the fan...

Please describe your controls. Does it not have low fan, high fan, low cool, high cool on the dial at ceiling? If yes, low cool or high cool setting should shut it down when temperature is reached via thermostat dial.

Have a duo therm ac and the low ac and low fan not work -

Thermostat on wall, or manual controls at AC? Did it work for you on low before now? Reason I ask, is that normally they are only a 2 speed fan ( low and high) so if it's a wall thermostat and has been changed from original, perhaps it the way the thermostat is wired.
