SOURCE: Hydrostatic Transmission Failure

There is a transmission bypass lever on the back of the mower, if the bypass is moved out of the drive position, it will not drive in either direction, and will be really easy to push.

SOURCE: gear select lever is very loose. It move forward

There is a pin that goes through the shifter that hold it in place, along with a spring just inside where the end of the shifting lever is, that makes the lever "return" after you pull it back to shift. These springs can break and bind up. Take a look at both.

SOURCE: The electric front seats both stopped moving

Check the fuse box for a blown fuse, both seats may operate on one fuse depending on the model of vehicle and the fuse may be located either under the dash on the drivers side or in the engine compartment on the drivers side.

Does lawn tractor, Item #521678, Model #13WV78KS011, have cruise control? Is it possible to mow in reverse by shifting from forward to reverse with no other action?

now I read everything
a lawn mower with cruise control
just how hazardous would that be
the cutting action is not dependent on travel direction so all mowers cut forward and backwards as well
But if you want cruise control, why not have one remote controlled so that you can sit on the verandah in the shade while you mow the lawn

It sounds like the motor for the forward/backward motion is out. Or the switch is bad.

My machine is sewing backward, would go forward what to do

there is normally a small lever on the front of the machine near the drive end that is up to go forward and down to reverse
It is a great help when starting to sew that you sew about 1/2 inch then reverse the direction and then go to forward again and continue sewing
actions anchors the start of the sewing and the thread will not come undone
do the same at the end of the sewing and when you cut off the threads they will not unravel

Screw loose in securing toilet to flange

Hopefully you can tighten it Sometimes the flange bends up or can break. Many a flange is not held down properly with good enough screws or the plywood has been rotting etc. If you can tighten it or loosen it then it has to be cut off with a recipricating saw or hacksaw and replaced.

Troy-bilt riding mower won't move in forward or reverse

I had a similar problem with my TroyBilt 50 inch zero turn mower. Was cutting grass when it stopped going either forward or backward even though it would start and the PTO would move the cutting blades. Turned out the tensioner spring for the belt that drives the motors near the rear wheels had gone missing. Searched the yard where I had cut and moved the machine but couldn't find it. A new one cost me about $7.50. Put the new one on and it worked fine.

I was mowing the grass, turned around to go back down to cut a new rpow, and lost all ability to go forward or backwards. Pedals seemed tosink a little lower, and there is a lovely grinding sound...

hydrostatic transmission has reached the end of its life. Call a dealer and get a price to repair, then contrast that amount with the cost of a new mower. Those transmissions are not cheap, you may find folks selling them NOS on eBay, certainly worth a few minutes googling around before you lay down the bucks. Do not buy a used transmission.

How do you install the blade in the craftsman recipricating saw model 320

You need a allen wrench to remove the blade and to reinsall it look at the base of the blade and you will see an allen wrench. If there is no allen wrench then you must pull down on the clap assembly to release the blade. If you still can't figure it out here is sears web site where you can get help for it if you need a picuter.
