Problem power suply - Apex Digital AT1308 13" TV

is 30% chances that only the power suply is broke, and after a lightning ...is beter to go to a profesional repair shop and check it there.

if the power suply is external before u go to a serice u can try whit a power suply that got same V and A

I think your printer power suply may be dameged. replace a new one.
or, ware, that collect power from power suply is damaged, replace a new one.

Try this. Remove Battery. Hold power button for 10 to 20 seconds Insert Battery and switch system on. Let me know if this works

You could be right it sound like the power suply, has it got a AC adaptor power suply,bit like a laptop charger? goes from mains to a black box then from box to the TV?
does it stay on at all?

check powr suply for a sony wite ceramic fuse 0.01 ohm
if open rebuild or replace power suply befor turning on the unit check the H.O.T high v transistor if shorted replace and also replace vdr610 602 and 603, depending on set flyback should be changed also due to a know internal arking problem with sony fly backs.
25% of the time its just the power suply that goes bad.

It's seems your backlight inverter is burnt out... need to be replaced with a new one or you can repaired yourself by testing all the capacitors to see which it has been burnt out or has a leaked. After that just replaced the bad caps... Good lucks, Have nice a day!
