Disable Dell Vostro 1540 Touchpad

Your problem could be that you don't have the driver installed.
Go to the dell site and then search for the Alps Alps TouchPad driver for Vostro 1540. Downlond and install. Restart your laptop and you should see an icon in the icon tray for the touchpad, you can click on that to disable it or use the shortcut key fn + f3.
Hope that helps.

Unfortunately my problem is my computer always keep on restarting and cant go on straight to windows. operating system was Windows XP.

There's a setting buried in Windows XP that tells your computer to restart when a system error occurs. If you turn off that option, you may solve your automatic reboot problem.
  • Click Start, then open Control Panel
  • Click Performance and Maintenance
  • Click System
  • Click on the Advanced Tab
  • Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section
  • Uncheck Automatically Restart in the System failure section

I have a problem my laptop hp pavillion dv6000 cant boot windows vista always restart ..

Did you try safe mode and see what happens? Normally during boot up time, press f8 and it will give you the option to go into safe mode. That could be the case of a corrupted files somewhere but you cannot tell until you start troubleshooting. If that does not help then post your problem here and someone else or maybe myself will try to help you. Hope this helps, good luck...

Try going into Utilities folder and open Disk Utility and repair disk permissions. That fixes a number of bizarre issues in Mac.

When i start my laptop it'll start but after some time it automaticaly restart always. so can't work on it...

As your notebook, is not static as it restarts always, there is probably issue with the RAM, Replacing RAM would resolve the issue.
