It could be your router or network settings for your internet. Do you use Port forwarding? The Playstation site tells you all the ports you need to use. Also try putting your playstation in a DMZ.

have you tried to play any other games since this started? try another game or dvd movie, if it works fine then your Modern Warfare disc is either damaged or defective, if it not scratched try taking it back to where you got it and asking for a replacement. If no other games or movies work then your xbox 360 disc drive has failed, you will have to contact Microsoft and probably send your xbox in for repair.

Unable to read disk

check the disc for any scratch,try cleaning it using a soft cloth,if still the same issue,try other game disc ,check if it will happen with other game disc,if not, the modern warfare disc is the issue,but if the error persist with all the game disc,the problem is your console you need to call xbox your repair

Well when i put modern warfare 2 in my 360 itl say clean disc then i do and it still wnt work but then i put in another game and it worked plus i already bought 6 modern warfare 2 s !!!!

Can't say for sure, but it sounds like a laser voltage issue. DVDs have many layers and the laser needs higher voltages in order to penetrate the lower layers to read the top layers. First try a DVD cleaning disc. After that, any DVD repair place should be able to fix this problem.

We have a new Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 and after we play for awhile get the message, the disk is unreadable - but the disk is UNSCRATCHED AND PERFECTLY CLEAN. What is the solution?

The disc may look fine but could still be damaged. Try to play the same disc on a buddy's Xbox to see if you get the message.

Try to play call of duty modern warfare 2 on x -box and states disc unreadable have tryed to clean disc and restart console not working

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is only on the XBOX 360, PS3, and PC. It is not available for the first XBOX console.
That is why it will not read the disc.
