I don't know if this is a tv or some other unit. You need to give us a little more info. If it is a tv or radio then unplug it from the wall for at least 5 minutes then plug it back in and start from there. Also change the batteries in your remote. If it doesn't change anything on your unit, it's because the the remote has a bad battery(ies) or it is broken. You can get new or used remotes on eBay for real cheap.

You don't have to take your set to a technician its in the TV settings which you put your self,so use the remote go to TV menu then picture settings you will see that feature then and disable it thanks.

The T con board is faulty. It is the board with flat ribbon cables going to the bottom of the screen. It is not hard to replace this board. You can get one from here:

a). Press MENU key ( ) from TV remote.



b). Select Picture option and press ENTER key ( ) from TV remote.



c). Select PIP option and press ENTER key ( ) from TV remote control.

d). PIP window will open on TV screen. Select PIP and press ENTER key ( ) from TV remote control.

You can probably change the picture in picture setting with your tv and that should help

The problem may be not in your TV but in your receiver, if you use a cable or satellite receiver. Sometimes those also have similar settings for picture mode - it's rare, but I've seen it.

If not, then it must be tv's zoom mode is just set to something other than "standard".

Best is kind of subjective since each person's eyes are different. If you are looking for a bright and vivid picture, you can go to the picture mode and change it to that setting. Usually it is called something like "Vivid" or "Dynamic." Besides that, it is all user preference. Most people prefer to just use the factory default settings.

try to change the stantard from the channel setting menu(bg-dk etc.)

try to reset the tv setting to its manufacturer settings and see if it fix the problem

Your TV is in DEMO-STORE MODE.
Go to menu, find Plug & Play option, start it, and when asked, select Home Mode, than Enter and than just Exit.
