Try to use the One Key Recovery if still fails contact LENOVO Warranty Support Department, check if the machine is still on warranty for depot so that you can send it for repair via Fedex free of cost.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Please help me : :' my pc is lenovo g500 and i forgot password bios who help me please

Hi,

I do google your problem and look to the lenovo G500 manual.
here's the manual says.

BIOS password problems I forgot my password. • If you forget your user password, you must ask the system administrator to reset your user password. • If you forget your HDD password, a Lenovo authorized servicer cannot reset your password or recover data from the hard disk. You must take your computer to a Lenovo authorized servicer or a marketing representative to have the hard disk drive replaced. Proof of purchase is required, and a fee will be charged for parts and service. • If you forget your administrator password, a Lenovo authorized servicer cannot reset your password. But in my own way of troubleshooting.
1. open your Lenovo G500
2. Check your motherboard and look for bios/cmos battery.
3. Remove the battery
4. Get flat screw driver then put it between two pins where the cmos battery attached.
5. Hold it for 10 to 15 sec.
6. Put the cmos battery back and the motherboard
7. Power it up and holla the bios setting has been reset to default.

When i power on the laptop ask HDD PASSWORD SIR PLZ HOW CAN I REMOVE SIR

How to remove and unlock hard drive password? Is there any software to recover hard drive disk password? Where to download hard drive password cracker? Is it possible to reset the hard drive password?
According to Lenovo and many other manufacturers' website, if you forget your hard drive or hard disk password, there is no possible way to reset your password or recover data in the hard disk drive. Basically the hard drive is unusable. Scary right? However, this is often not true.
Most people are not aware that most hard disk drives have the ability to set a hardware password, just like the Bios password for motherboards, thus making the drive completely inaccessible unless a correct password is provided during the BIOS POST test. Usually these features can only be found in laptops, this is when you set a password on your notebook, the hard drive together with the motherboard becomes locked.
Most experts would say if you forget the original HDD or Bios password, there is no way of restoring it by generic system tools. Unlike the Bios password where there is a master key or with the removal of the bios battery, the password is erased from the flash memory thus the settings is restored to factory settings without the password, however, this does not applies to hard disk.

I have lenovo 4dq y-screes it asking the bios password ie i forget so how to remove the bios password.

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your Lenovo laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.
