I have replace the STK IC's with no success. It looks as though there are several resistors that are burnt. I am looking to buya new PCB but cannot locate one. The part # is BP41-00070A which is the sub board in which the IC's are located. Can anyone help me find a new board or series of boards.

It sounds like the RED CRT is cracked which will cause a red line. You can verify by looking into the lens of the Red CRT with a flasnlight if you see a line the CRT needs replacement. If no line then chances are the Convergence IC may have a problem.
Check the resistors near the ic, and the fuses to the ic's, i bet you will find an open fuse. the fuse will look similar to a resistor without color bands. use a dvm and set it on ohms, with the tv turned off.
It looks like you have a problem on your convergence panel. Look for burned resistors near the STK-* IC's. One or more of the STK-* IC's may be bad. When the resistors get hot they smell but so do the IC's. You can replace the bad parts or you should be able to replace the entire panel then go thru a convergence alignment.
There are three main reasons that convergence can still be inoperable after replacing the convergence amps. One, when the amps failed they blew the fuses protecting the power supply from shorts. Two, when the amps failed the yoke return biasing resistors burned open. And Three the Digital Convergence Unit has failed. Once things have gotten to this point it is usually time to have a professional have a look at the set.
check the 3.9om fusible resistors next to the stk the small ones with the orange white gold stripes they are paired so you will have to replace at least 2 maybe more.all the current from the stk goes thru them.
If the fusible resistor is open, yes it could cause this problem. Check for others in the area as well. Is that resistor 3.9 Ohms?
I'm guesing yes. This is likely the current limiting resistor for the IC. There should be another for the other IC as well. Look for pico fuses in that area that may be open.
I want to get this straight are you saying that you cant align them and this is your focus problem or you have two problems that you cant get the convergence and the focus?
it might have been easier just to have the board replaced... Samsung parts for convergance problem http://www.partstore.com/Part/Samsung/Samsung/BP9500142E/New.aspx
One of the convergence output IC's has burned out and needs to be replaced. If the IC opens up inside then it stops working without blowing any fuses or resistors. The IC should be replaced and the set realigned by someone with experience in convergence circuits.
