Delete Memory Canon Laser Class 7000

Canon Laser Class 7000, when I hit delete memory it asks for the TX#, when I input the number, I am unsure what to do to delete. I tried the green button, the *, the #, the delete again, and I can't get it to delete.
Help.

You can reset your restore default factory setting or by removing cmons of logic card .

Deleting a Document from Memory
1 Press [Menu].
2 Use UP or DOWN arrow to select MEMORY REFERENCE, then press Start/Copy.
3 Use UP or DOWN arrow to select DELETE DOCUMENT, then press Start/Copy.
4 Use UP or DOWN arrow to select the transaction number TX/RX NO. of the document you want to delete, then press Start/Copy. The LCD displays YES=(*) NO=(#).
If the LCD does not change after you press UP or DOWN arrow, this means only one transaction is stored in memory.
If you are unsure of the transaction number TX/RX NO., print a list of documents in memory (see page 34).
5 Press [*] to delete the document.
If you want to keep the document in memory, press [#].
6 To continue deleting other documents in memory, repeat the procedure from step 4.
To finish, press Stop.

Memory is full. How do I print RX and then delete the RX?

Hope this helps.
1.) Press (system monitor) until <Fax Monitor> is displayed.
2.) Press - or + to select <2.TX/RX Transmission)->Press [set]
3.) Use the numeric buttons to select the transmission numbers of the fax job you want to delete-->Press [set]
4.) If you want to delete the fax job press [-] for <YES>

How to recover fax in memory

Your fax can print a list of documents stored in memory, along with the transaction number (TX/RX NO.) of each document. Once you know the transaction number of a document in memory, you can print it or delete it.
1 Press [Menu].
2 Use [up] or [down] to select , then press [Start/Copy].
3 Use [up] or [down] to select , then press [Start/Copy].

3 Use [up] or [down] to select , then press [Start/Copy].

5 Press [*] to print the first page only, or press [#] to print all pages of the document.
The fax prints the document.

  1. Issue: How do I print a document stored in memory?
    Solution: Print the received fax from memory - MX310
    Memory Reference Print faxes received from memory when ink is low or paper has run out or paper has jammed. It may be necessary to press to clear the error then attempt to print the fax from memory.
    1. Press , then press . [FAX SETTINGS] will appear at the top row.

    2. Use leftright.gifto select [MEMORY REFERENCE].

    3. Press .

    4. Use leftright.gifto select [PRINT DOCUMENT] or [DELETE DOCUMENT].

      If you select [PRINT DOCUMENT]:

How can i print my faxes that are received in memory? My fax is flashing - Auto Print Off - Rec'd in Memory. How can i access my faxes from there?

Here are the instructions from the onscreen manual from Canon USA.:

Printing or Deleting a Document in Memory
1 Press the FAX button, then press the Menu button.
2 Press the l_mark.jpg or r_mark.jpg button to select MEMORY REFERENCE.
3 Press the OK button.
4 Press the l_mark.jpg or r_mark.jpg button to select PRINT DOCUMENT or DELETE DOCUMENT.
bullet_s.gif If you select PRINT DOCUMENT: (1) Press the OK button.
(2) Press the l_mark_s.jpg or r_mark_s.jpg button to select the transaction number (TX/RX NO.) of the document you want to print, or enter the number by pressing the Numeric buttons.
If you are unsure of the transaction number, print the memory list. See Printing a List of Documents in Memory.
(3) Press the OK button.
(4) Press the l_mark_s.jpg button to select YES to print the first page only, or press the r_mark_s.jpg button to select NO to print all pages of the document.
(5) Press the OK button.

Fax job in memory that will not clear. Canon 2050P

1)Open the One-Touch Speed Dialing panel, then press 'Memory Reference'.
2)Use up or down arrow to select 4.DELETE DOCUMENT. 3)Press 'Set'. 4)Use up or down arrow to select the TX/RX number you want to delete. [you can check the documents stored in memory by pressing < or > ] 5)Press 'Set'. 6)Press * to delete or # to cancel deleting. 7)Press 'Stop' to return to standby mode.

setting the stations goes like this:

First hit class a, b, c etc, and to clear out what is there, hit 1, then hit both memory and the one next to it at the same time to delete what is in there, To program, hit memory, then quickly, class a, b, c, etc. What it does it store that station in the NEXT AVAILABLE slot, so it is best to clear all slots, and have the station call numbers ready in the order you wish to set them.
