Avr-3808 speaker relays problem

I believe it is like my Denon AVR-3808 as it's a HDMI v1.3 compliant. For 3D you need 1.4. So I now use optical cables to the AVR and HDMI to the TV. Then config the DNLA player to split the video to HDMI and the 5.1 sound to optical.

I'm not familiar with your unit. However, go to systems surround set up and turn up volume for those surround speakers you speak of.

try doing a google search for avr 3808 manual
also try going to denon.com if you need a hardcopy call denon tell them to send you one.

Your tuner is need to resolder all components parts joints ,that is the symptom of loose connection or cold solder.

It was solved by turning the receiver off with the power button (not stand-by). After turning on the netradio did have its sound back. Apparantly it must be running some sort of Windows os.

Other listening modes (dolby, dts, neo6) are decoded from digital signals.

Direct will relay your only your discrete analog inputs - so if you want to use your AVR as an amplifier for those channels, you'll need to supply an input signal in a different manner.

have you tried connect the speakers as front speaker and see if it works first? sound will only come from rear speaker if it is of 5.1 channel mode... please also read the manual
