Hello rebelwarrior,

Unfortunately, Logitech do not sell these components separately..The only components that they sell fro mice are replacement mice feet. They will replace the entire unit if it is still under warranty and is unopened/tampered with. You contact their customer via email HERE. They usually respond within a day or two max. (I know, because I was on the support desk for a while ;))

However, I think you may be able to find suitable replacement parts at your local computer store or by doing a Google search online...Hope that helps...

Where can I find rear bearings for this unidentified bicycle?


A little more information would be very helpful.
Most rear hubs are Shimano.
The bearings are available in any bicycle shop.
S-Ram is rarer, and may have to be ordered over the INTERNET.
The Chinese brands are almost hopeless.
Look for a part number stamped on the hub, and use Google.

I accidentally fumbled and dumped an entire cup of coffee on my Logitech marble mouse! I extracted the ball, dried everything off inside and out, and even cleaned the little optical window inside the...


Turn it belly side up. If there is a retaining ring turnit counter-clockwise to remove it Pop out the ball.
There are three little bearings about the and shape ofa BB Take a Q tip and dry and or remove any debris on the BBs There should also be a little black rectangle. This is thewindow that the sensor looks at the ball through, Clean/dry it with Q-tip. Put it back together and try again.

The mouse does not work at all. I put in new batteries and still does not work. I had problems with my computer and since that is fixed the mouse does not work.


Hello, Allow me to try to figure this out here.

Your saying batteries and mouse so may i assume this is a wireless mouse for a moment?

Okay once you replace the batteries in the mouse you need to unplug the little transmitter from the computer, Reboot, Then plug it back in.

This would allow it to re-sync being that its infra red or otherwise.

So try that. Take out the little transmitter thob, reboot, plug it back in, the mouse should be working again.

1.Check the batteries are they in backwards?
2.Check the battery connectors inside,

Now if this is a IMAC or something like that quickly let me know!

Motor speed is erratic. Now it makes grinding noises


There is a speed governor on the motor end of the armature (back end of the motor) that may
need replacing. It's one of the few parts still available. on eBay, or mendingshed.com

The grinding could either be the gears in the beater end of the mixer, or the motor bearing on
the back end of the motor.

The gears are available as they are the same as for newer mixers like the K5SS.

The motor end bearing is not available, but I was able to take the bearing out of the motor
bearing plate from a K5SS which is still available, again on eBay or mending shed, and put
it in the motor bearing plate for the K5A. Then you need to soak the felt ring inside the housing
on the back end of the bearing in oil, preferably synthetic like Mobil 1. Also helps to smear
a little moly grease (not out of a tube, not enuf moly content - get some Honda Moly 60, small
tube for $10 at any Honda store) on the shaft when you have it apart.

The mouse has lost its air feature. Still works from a desk as an optical mouse. Produces a high pitched sound .


Sorry my reply is five years after the question but I really hope this reply can help anyone out. I have a gyration GYR3101US Media center remote.

Tonight I took it apart. this is what I found. There is one screw behind the batteries, then you have to pry it apart with a flat head. once inside find the gyration sensor

Put the screw driver between the metal plate and the outer casing you should see a little crack. also i cut most of that red tape off with a razor blade before prying.

I'm guessing it's a weight or magnet. After carefully and gently snapping it back in place, put your mouse back together enough to test it. at first it still had problems but i double clicked the mouse movement button and set it on a flat surface so it could calibrate itself. How do i clean a microsoft 5000 laser mouse?


You can clean your laser mouse using an alchohol. Just pour a little achohol in a cotton and wipe it all around the mouse. If you want also clean the inside of the mouse then you must a screw driver to open it. Once open, you need a brush and brush the mouse board inside. My Wacom mouse is driving me insane!!!


I think I figured out this problem. It's more of a wearing issue with the constant use of the button. Basically the plastic tab on the internal underside on the mouse is wearing down from continual use. I added a piece of custom cut card stock under the front of the mouse circuit board. This raised it up just a little to compensate for the wear on the button.
