I have the same problem on my Panasonic 50PX77U plasma which is only two months old.

The clicking occurs less frequently now but still happens aobut once every half hour. Very annoying.

Other forums suggest that this is a problem with expansion of the TV case. Panasonic will send out a tech with a felt kit to reduce the noise created by this expansion. Don't know yet if this is a real fix.

Same problem... very annoying. I hope there's a fix for it. Before searching Google, I thought it might be just because I have it mounted on the wall... but you guys seem to have the same problem. It's already clicked like 10 times since I started writing this. Darn it.

I had a simalir problem. Clicking sound happened on standby, I noticed this after many nights spent on the lounge. It now has a buzzing sound that I can hear over the normal volume I watch at. Its still under warranty but they can not fix it. Been to the service centre 4 times but buzzing returns mainly about 8 at night.

Dont buy a plasma from panasonic as the warranty means jack s**t!!!

If you have one and have no problems quick, sell it on ebay!

    UNHAPPY!!!

Hello everyone,

I bought the model TH-50PX60U June of 2007. I've been hearing the very annoying clicking noise as well.

Since the TV has a one year warranty, I just called Panasonic and they've scheduled a tech to come over and take a look at it three days from now.

I will publish the results on the same page.

Ok the tech came and took the TV with him. He called me later on in the day and said he hasn't heard a single thing. I asked him to keep it another day.

Called next day and said the same thing. Ofcourse they provided me with a loaner plasma for the time being.

He brought the TV back the day after and told me the Panasonic tech support told him that it's the cable tuner that is trying to adjust itself to the signaling from the provider, and it's not a defect.

He also told me in order to insure that this is in fact that issue, to hook up a DVD and as soon as the clicking starts happening, to unplug the coax cable and start the DVD and listen to see if it still clicks.

Well I turned on a DVD yesterday and it still clicked. I'm almost 100% sure it's the frame that's expanding and making that annoying noise. The tech had told me if that is the case, they can install a felt kit in the screws to prevent that from happening.

One thing I noticed was that it makes less noise when the TV is on the ground. Mine is mounted on the wall and I had to take it down for the tech to take it. I turned it on when it was on the ground and it was making less noise...

I'm going to call the tech and ask him to come install a felt kit. I only have about a month left of the warranty.

I can hear the music but people speaking sounds like they're faint and echoed

If you can hear the music in your PlayStation 3 (PS3) but people speaking sounds faint and echoed, there are a few things you can try to improve the sound quality:
1. Adjust the audio settings: Go to the PS3 menu and select "Settings" > "Sound Settings" > "Audio Output Settings." Choose the appropriate audio output settings for your system and TV or monitor, and make sure that the correct input channel is selected.
2. Check your connections: Make sure that all of your cables are securely connected to the PS3 and the TV or monitor. If the cables are loose, this can cause poor sound quality.
3. Check the game or movie settings: If you are playing a game or watching a movie, check the audio settings within the game or movie to ensure that the sound is optimized for your TV or monitor.
4. Adjust your TV or monitor settings: If the sound quality is still poor, adjust your TV or monitor settings. You may need to adjust the bass, treble, and other audio settings to improve the sound quality.
5. Use headphones: If none of the above solutions work, consider using headphones to listen to the sound from your PS3. This can provide better sound quality and reduce background noise and echoes.
If you continue to experience problems with the sound quality on your PS3, you may need to contact Sony customer support for further assistance or repair.

Take care and have a great day! -Alex

I was wondering why Netflix has to regenerate every 15 minutes or so...

I have used Netflix for a few years now and if you have a slow connection sometimes the buffer has to catch up. What normally happens is when you start to watch a movie it will load a certain amount of the movie before it starts. Make sure that you are not running anything in the background like a Antivirus and such. Make sure that you have plenty of Ram and Hard drive space as well. You can also purchased a Media Streamer like Ruku and hook it up to your TV if it is not a Smart TV. Just a thought. Good Luck.

Cd player is making clicking noises

Sounds like you need a new dvd drive. You can get there for about $40 and they are fairly easy to install.

There's an intermittent high pitched noise from sharp aquos lc32 le600e

Sounds like a transformer or choke that has loose windings and they are resonating, you can pull the back and put small amounts of silicone on those components or replace the power board

I've been experiencing audio and video problems for the last few weeks and have tried just about everything to resolve this matter. I'm able to play all music in wmp or watch downloaded movies but I'm...

you need to update your codecs.  a codec is a Coder/decoder hence the name.  the file is coded at one place and your computer has to decode it.  First off you have to find out what file isnt playing correctly be it a divx, and avi, an mpeg, an mp3 , an mp4 , a wav...... and on and on.  once you figure out wich one is messing up do a google search for the codec.  example divx = bad then search "divx codec download" and follow the links till you find one you can download.  scan it for virus then install.

should fix the problem.

RCA model# D61W136D scenium

Sounds like the high voltage transformer is bad. Best bet is to call a service shop. I wouldn't keep watching the set, as this will just cause more damage.
