My phone (motorola slvr l7) says invalid battery when I try to charge it. I just received it off of ebay from a credible company. Any way to fix this problem?

My motorola SLVR L7c recently faced a 1/4 cup of soda. having a 2 year old this is old hat, just took it apart laid it out and let it dry. it seemed to work perfectly the next day except some new sticky buttons. then suddenly last night it just randomly read "invalid battery" not while charging, but alltogether. i had an extra BK60 battery because i'm nervous of running out of battery life, it also reads invalid battery. they're both the stock battery, i know the one is perfectly charged. and the rest on charger suggestion didn't work. is there anything else i can try?

Razr V3M and get invalid charger. I am using the same charger that came with the phone though it is a new battery.

The problem sounds like your phone problem. How old are both the phoen and charger. Who is your carrier. Depending on the carrier you may be able to get the phone replace. If you have are ready purchase a new battery and it is still saying invalid charger more and likely it is the phone. Clean the battery connections with a toothbrush. Also Use can air to blow out the dirt in the charging port. Clean these areas out very well and you should be find. If not contact motorola and have them send you a replacement. If your still getting a invaild charger. You may even be able to get them to send you a charger.

Phone not charging

If the new charger is also not working then surely it's the problem of that charger port (valve). It must have been damaged.U need to get it fixed from the hardware vendor.

SCP-7050 screen reads backwards like a mirror image

I had the same problem with my phone, had it fixed once under warranty a few months later had the same problem. They told me it would cost a fortune to fix, I was about ready to give up until i examined the phone a bit further, it seemed as though the contacts on the battery were somewhat worn, I simply packed some paper between the battery case and the top of the battery, seemed to fix the problem for now.

Water

T-man, It's possible the battery contacts have corroded. Take a pencil eraser and --lightly-- go over the contacts of both the phone and the battery. Gently blow any shavings out of the phone with a can of compressed air. I would definitly buy a new battery ASAP. Hope this helps.
