Kenwood kdw8st2a dishwasher e3 fault

Hi i have a kenwood kdw8st2a dishwasher and it has been coming up with the e3 error which points to the thermistor or the heater
the problem i have is that they dont seem faulty,
the thermistor gives a reading of 10k at room temp and rising to 7k when heater to approx 50 deg c
the heating elementgives a reading of 29 ohms and does not have any leakage to earth
do you know what the readings should be and if they are ok where else can i look
thanks

The readings appear ok to me. The circuit that controls the element and any fuse in that circuit have to be suspected now.

Kenwood diswasher kdw243a/a e3 fault code?

e3 means there was a longer heating time but not reaching required temperature could be a malfunction of temperature sensor or of heating element. E3 is a temperature error. There are two theromstats, 90 degrees and 78 degrees. I suggest you to call the competent person to substitute either of these thermostats.

Hi - have a kenwood KDW125L3A and is showing error E3 - help please. Ricardo

E3 is a temperature error. There are two thermostats,90 degrees and 78 degrees. This requires removal of the ride side of themachine to access. The other signal for the E3 error is the heating elementitself. If the water isn't heating at all, either the element or the 90 degreestat is faulty. You can change both and none of it is difficult to change for amoderately competent.

My kenwood KDW12SL3A dishwasher dysplays E3 error every time I use it. dishes don't get cleaned properly. Can I fix it myself? if not how much will it cost me to get it fixed by a professional? thank you

Hi

E3 error code neans the water is not being heated to the required temperature in the machine.

This may be either a defective heating element or faulty thermostat.

It is unlikely you can fix this yourself.

Depending on what is wrong it might cost you around $150

Problem with kenwood dishwasher kdwast2a it has no power, and had originally come up with error e3?

E3 usually indicates the heater element has failed perhaps it has now also blown a fuse?

Kenwood Slimline Dishwasher KDW8ST2A

I have a Kenwood Kdw8st2a and have been constantly plagued by the E4 overfill error.

Lifting the front of the dishwasher and tilting it backwards seemed to clear the E4 error only for it to come back after the next wash.

I found eventually that the connection to the U bend under the sink was too narrow and was almost blocked hence the dishwasher was not emptying properly.

I disconnected the dishwasher waste pipe and ran the waste into a bucket for about 6 cycles and it worked fine.

Eventually drilled through the kitchen wall and fitted a lower direct waste pipe to the drain. Overkill maybe buit it hasn't done an E4 since.

Kenwood dishwasher kdw8st2a

I had E4. Initially couldn't get it to clear.

In desperation, switched it off, turned it on it side and drained it onto the floor.

The E4 disappeared and the dishwasher is working normally.
