Wan't boot up

Watching the harddrive I see the green lite on and the amber lite comes on and in a short time nothing happens    I still have A camera hooked up and can see the camera working threw the monitor but the dvr never boots all the way up

my dvr not fit all hard disk, only work en 10% and booting after this

Right, and the FACTORY RESET button seems to be inoperative as well. It boots, lights flash, and I do hear the HDD fire up, then the image from the video cam seems to pass through, but the date and time stopped working, and none of the three control buttons work. I just unplugged it and will let it sit for a few hours or overnight and see what happens then.

If the dvr isnt booting the harddrive, then the harddrive isnt seated properly in the removeable harddrive drawer, or the harddrive is improperly formated, or you have the wrong type of harddrive, or the master/slave settings on the harddrive are not set properly (master). what ive found is an 80gig/160gig is the most that these things will handle. and some brands work and some brands don't. and the harddrives have to be IDE/EIDE type drives. but it sounds like a harddrive interface problem. They like the older harddrive formatts/(not xp/vista)....good luck!!!!

Ds light green, dim green, amber then off when power is turned on

Sounds like you need to send it in for repair. I had sent my console to VideoGame911.com and they repaired mine at a great cost and got it back at the end of the week. Give them a try, they are cheaper than a manufacturer. Good luck!

powersource is good.motherboard might be the problem.harddrive can be tested by putting it in
another computer and see if it boot up.to test the mother board unhook the cd drives and harddrive.turn

then it might be the bios.you might have to flash the bios and reinstall it.to do this i recommend you take it to a

Can you give a little more information? Did the Laptop Fall? What Color is the light that blinks? Amber or Green?
So far it Sounds to me that you Power Supply is Dead or Bad and or not charging the Battery....

First Check the battery status light?
Is the Power Supply Light (Lite). you might want to try removing the battery and using only the Power supply!
