Epson nx415 communication error - Epson NX415 All-In-One Printer

Unfortunately this sort of error can occur whether the cartridge is a genuine Epson one or a perfectly good compatible. Remove the cartridge and carefully, with clean piece of cotton-type cloth, wipe the contacts and try again as that will often clear the error.

Sounds like something is damaged.

Every EPSON Printer has a preferences or maintenance part to do what you want to solve its ink problems. Check it out and do some maintenance with regards to ink problems. Use your mouse pointing to Printer icon and right click on it and there you will find out the properties/references/maintenance to solve the ink problems. Good luck!

i found out a site that offers cheeper compatible ink cartridges... try to check out this site: http://www.swiftink.com/Epson-Stylus-NX415-Ink-Cartridges-s/3544.htm. they do offer warranty should these inks dont work.. and they are safer to use because they do have quality control even thought its remanuctured.

I understand that your NX415 can't recognize your ink, here's a tutorial which might help with this:

Check for other bits of ripped off paper stuck in your machine.
Try turning off your printer for 30 secs and turn it back on.

Epson does not make a NX410, They only make a NX400 and NX415.

Check the back of the printer for the exact model number. If when you check you it is for some strange reason it is a NX410. I would try one of the drivers from the NX4000 or NX415 as drivers for printers typically don't vary too much between similar models and may provide a good temporary fix to your problem.

Get a usb to Ethernet print server and you can print to the printer without having to keep a receiving computer turned on .
