I had the same problem and talked to the supplier. They gave me the following fix which worked ok. )Apparently its easy to accidently pres a button combination that screws up the mullti region settings.
1. Power box off, then on. (no dvd in tray) 2. Press the following buttons on the remote Subtitle, Repeat, (not repeat AB ) 5,6,7,3,2 3. You then should see a screen giving current region and letting you choose your region. "0" is region free so pick that. 4. Turn box off then on and it should work.

I just answered your other question about this same issue. You need to stop replacing parts long enough to DIAGNOSE the problem so you are not creating further problems by changing all the parts on the car.

The remote won;t work

If it's a "Universal" remote and you've changed the batteries, you'll need to reprogram it according to the make/model of the remote. A remote that came with your receiver....

1. Check batteries, they may be dead or dying.
2. Is something blocking the remote receiving window on the receiver?

Remotes use infrared light to transmit to their matching devices and MUST have a line-of-sight path to work properly.

Coby 626 DVD Player Remote Not Working

I have a COBY DVD player TF-DVD7005 that hadn't been used in a while. When I charged the battery and the light went from red to green, nothing happens when I push play and the DVD doesn't spin. Could the battery be dead despite the green light and where would I get a new one?
