Set color on my LCD TV/monitor

I connected my LCD TV to my PC to use as a monitor.  It is a Citizen LT2010 20" TV.  It is working but it has a black and white screen color.  How can I change it to color?

Thanks,
A. Turmon

Why my screen says please wait then goes black

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

How can i play ps2 on lcd without having a black and white screen ? how can i connect the cables ?.....when i look at the back of my lcd i find three ports (red white yellow) when i use them the screen is...

1) The set of input (Yellow= Composite video, Red= Right channel audio, White= Left channel audio). This set of input is for composite video.

2) The set of input (Red= Red video signal, Green= Green video signal + sync, Blue= Blue signal, Red= Right channel audio, White = Left channel audio (the Red and White will be grouped close together). This set of input is used for Component video for HD signal.

You should try using composite video source (Yellow RCA jack) from DVD player and feed to the monitor and see if it works OK with all color showing that way we acn find out if it is the video source problem or the monitor video signal processing problem. Try the PS2 on the TV if it works OK also.

My screen is revolving colors blue, green, white, and red and will not stop

Display of color strips on the screen is the default behaviour of the LCD screens when there is NO INPUT. This means that the LCD is working fine but there is no input/ signal from the PC. So, make sure that your PC is working fine and the video (VGA) cable properly connected to the LCD.
Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Good Luck!
Hope this helps!

My F-19 screen become black .Can't see on TV or PC, just sound on TV connection

pradzevalqim, Monitor may have problem with internal switch-mode-power-supply / ccfl inverter lamp supply" causing fluorescent lamps to not light-up and provide "white light" so you can see what is on the glass lcd panel. You or qualified technician will need to investigate and repair the unit. Read my fixya profile for more information about "black" or "blank n black" screen repair. 12fixlouie

ACER LCD monitor no image, appears white color only

Quickly go to the Acer website and check FAQ's and while there also find out how to get an RMA to return it. My guess is you have a bad monitor. At $200 roughly for a replacement I would hustle. I am assuming you got nothing but a white screen but did get video on your TV.
