Unfortunately Creative Labs has discontinued support for that model sound card. There is no Windows 7 driver as the last driver released for it was in 2005.

You'll need to purchase a newer sound card. A Windows 7 Compatible sound card starts in the $25 range.

If i'm not mistaken, the CT4870 / CT4780 is the SoundBlaster Live card, and the drivers are on http://support.creative.com
The driver listed is for Windows 2000 and Windows XP users ONLY.

you need to go to start then all programs ,go up to accessories then to volume control and make sure the mic is not muted and that the mic volume is up. Good luck
