Garmin 350 has no voice

Please try this solution first. It sounds like you don't have any TTS (text to speech) voices selected.

Go into the tools section of the unit. There is a way to set the volume level there.

Voice, American English-Jill (TTS) software version 1.90 make sure your voice is tts, text to speech

what has happened? my etrex said low batteries. I changed batteries. now all I get is searching for sattellites? can anyone help?

I have the same problem with my Nuvi 350. It's only about 2 months old and the sound went. I turned it on the other day to use it and the sound did not sound right, it sounded like the speaker was blown. I turned it off and turned it back on and that was it, the sound was gone. I did everything possible and can't get the sound to come back. I called Garmin and now I have to send it in for repair. I looked around the web and noticed that Garmins have big issues with the sound going on the units. I hope they fix that issue.

My GARMIN nuvi 350 - was working for last two years in good condition,all sudden it speech / voice is lost although I tried to reset as well as adjust volume on high.

It is not mute still it does not have speech ?? why all sudden this issue arised ?? Is there any one to support??

I had this problem with the 760. Solved by going to settings>language and discovering I had no choice for "voice". I pressed that selection and picked american english and my problem was solved. Garmin support said sometimes the program gets corrupted and that choice needs to be made again.
