Doe anything come on? A fan perhaps? If you look closely at the display you can see the numbers even with the lights out. I think I would check that you actually have power to the unit first.

If all the lights are out, check the bulbs. They sometimes get build up on them and need to be wiggled to make better contact. a 1/8 turn will sometimes do the trick. If there is no light, the panel will not illuminate. It is back lit with the 4 bulbs under the plastic top panel. No light, no panel light. Compressor has a 4 minute delay. It is possible that a switches are bad at the bottom of door. Do a check with a multi-meter, one switch is always on, the other is always off, if you push it and the status changes, the switch is good.

My sub zero 601r no cooling

How soon did you start it up after you moved it & put it in its place?
If you plugged it in to soon after moving. Oil may have still been up in the wrong place of the compressor. Unplug it for about an hour. Then plug it back in. By plugging it in to early after moving you could have burnt up the compressor. This happens often.

Sub-zero refrigerator on but not cooling

Your thermostat, or compressor (motor) is defect. Or the cooling fluid has leaked away. (used to be freon)
To be sure let a technician have a look.

Sub zero 601R not cooling properly

The display does not show air temp, and it is not "live". It uses both thermistors to calculate the internal product temperature of the stuff in your fridge. You would have to have it open for a very long time to affect the reading. Also, the reason the compressor will not run after leaving the door open, is because the computer will not allow the compressor to turn on until the evaporator reaches at least a 38 degree reading, no matter what the set temp is. This is designed to ensure that the evaporator is not "iced up" when the unit turns on, thus causing a frost up. They call this an "off cycle defrost" that is how they defrost the coils without using a heater. When you disconnect the thermistor, it doesn't know what the evap temp is, so it runs in a default mode.

I have a sub zero 601r that has stumped me. We had a power surge and the board went. I got a new one and installed it. The new one has error codes of 07 & 08, the service light flashes and the ICE...

Hi!
I believe the codes in this particular case mean that there is an open or mixed up connection on the board, or that the board you got is not for the unit you own. You may try unplugging the unit for a few minutes to reboot the board and see if the codes disappear. Here is a description of the codes:

07 Freezer Cabinet Thermistor read open or shorted for 10+ seconds, or repeatedly read erratic temp's

08 Freezer Evaporator Thermistor read open or shorted for 10+ seconds, or repeatedly read erratic temp's

This is the Control Board for your unit (601f, 601r) Call 800-269-2609 to verify with serial number off model tag.

601R sub zero vacuum condenser notice

Your problem might be serious enough to warrant a repairman's visit. But this was my experience: An official Sub Zero repair company in NYC told me this: If the "vacumm condenser" light keeps flashing after you've opened and cleaned the condenser grill, then either pull out the plug for the Sub Zero refrigerator or turn off the circuit breaker (or fuse) in your house that leads to it, wait for some minutes and then turn back on. It is NOT enough to turn off the unit using its own internal on-off switch - it has to be totally disconnected from the AC. I did so, waited 15 minutes, turned back on, and it worked!! I had vacuumed the condenser grill twice but the "vacuum condenser" light kept flashing AND the refrig would go bonkers if set below 38. Now the flashing warning is off and it's down to 35. Great !!!
