You can only use your phone as well as the touch screen by replacing touch screen module, all touch screen phones are too sensitive mostly when accidentally dropped off the ground or watered damage. This is not repairable so never open the phone without any replacement, might broke the LCD screen when improper dismantling takes place,Solving this issues can be done by going to a service center, this will ensure your phone safety.
Freezing is also one of the factor that's why your touch screen is not working,it can be fix by updating the phone software or firmware,or you can drop by to the nearest mobile service shop near you,by the use of GSM gadget,it will be fix properly without experiencing error on programming.pay not that much and for sure service is negotiable.

Replace the LCD screen from Nokia priority.I recommend that Do not go for a third party LCD screen. Because touch functionality doesnt work properly on most of them.
Hi ya the problem will be where the screen conects with the board it is not sitting on the contacts properly or there could be a bit of grease or dust stopping the terminals from contacting properly it will be a case of taking the screen back out cleaning the board where the screen touches the terminals and make sure when you put it back that the screen is sitting correctly in the right possition.
But one thing people forget to do when working on phones is to earth yourself properly by touching a radiator or something that is earthed as any phone repair expert will tell you that the static in your body and clothes can totally destroy a phone.
