Need Verizon FIOS remote code for new PROSCAN 40LC45S

  • mawhitham Jun 07, 2009

Thank you, I had tried these codes and they did not work. I tried using the remote scanning feature (Hold down TV and OK simultaneously, release enter 922 and PLAY button, then pushing >>> repeatedly) and it eventually found a code that worked. Unfortunately, I can't tell you what code it selected.

Thanks again and I appreciate your time.

I just got my Proscan 40LC45S to work with the Verizon FiOS remote using the search function! While holding down TV device button, press OK button and then release both buttons; device keys will flash twice; enter 9-2-2 on keypad, wait until TV button flashes, then press PLAY on DVR button. Now press the >> button once, wait, press again, wait, and the Proscan will shut off (at least it did for me). Immediately press the OK button to store the code. The trick is to wait long enough after pressing the search (>>) button each time because it takes a moment for the power-off instruction to register with the TV and then for you notice the TV is actually turning itself off--easy to miss if doing the process too fast!

I bought a GRUNDING GU19WDVD3 three weeks ago, was working fine until a week ago but now green dotted waves cover the black shades on the screen. The manual has no troubleshooting solutions. Can anybody please help? Thank you so much.

What is the Brand Code for this TV?

The brand code should be listed in the Verizon FIOS remote user guide.

Have 40 inch Proscan TV. Am trying to program my Verizon (FIOS Service) Remote to recognize the TV. None of the numbers furnished by Verizon work. Proscan gave me some weird numbers that do not work...

You mostly have to go through all the numbers to find one that works. Sometimes, with an off brand TV I have the best plasma i've ever owned right now. It's not a fancy brand name and the remote ( Comcast ) wont work for it. The comcast guy said that it would not work with my TV. Hope ite helps. You may not be able to pair the two at all.

I have tried to program my FiOS Verizon remote control to recognize my Proscan HD TV so that I don't have to use two remote devices. I don't like using two remotes and my Proscan remote control is so...

Thank you. I did solve my problem with some diligence. The instructions from Verizon were correct. I realized that there are two buttons on the Verizon universal remote that look alike - the "play" arrow and the "fast forward" double arrow. Once I used both of these buttons in the proper sequence, reprogramming the TV remote with the new code worked.

NEED REMOTE CODE

Go on the Verizon website and request a new remote, the Verizon P265 Remote model. It will have all the newest firmware and it should have the code. I know this because I had a TCL 32" TV and the code wasn't on my old Philips RC 1445302 model. TV and new remote are "talking" just fine now. Verizon won't even want the old one back.
