Most, but not all of the control keypads don't work. Timers & set up buttons work but numbers & scroll buttons & others do not. I can lock & unlock the controls too. *Would a range fuse problem lead to an incomplete dysfunction of the control pad? I've already tripped the fuse on my electrical panel & that made no effect.
SOURCE: Keypad Start and Clear are the only keys that work. F7 S6, S7, SA, d6
f-7 mean stuck button on key pad or stuck relay on oven control. if the problem started while oven was in use replace oven control. if problem started while oven was not in use replace key pad

F2:E0 is shorted keypad, and F2:E1 is no keypad connection, you need to replace the keypad.
You can find schematics and find replacements by entering model number here.

It sounds like you have an oven problem rather than a start button problem. Is there an error code? If so list your model and error code on a search engine and you will find error codes. Or you can just list make model number and error codes and you can find a chart of Whirlpool error codes. I have done this with no problem. That should tell you the exact problem and things to try.
It may be neither issue you mentioned. It could be a bad element or a short.

Could not find any other way to contact you - have you found a solution? I am having the same problem with the exact gas range model.
Thank you,
Dan
