Question about Maytag Performa PAV2200

Water out of washing machine.

My drain hose always seems to let water leak at the wall connection.  I have tried stuffing cloth and paper towels in there to block the water from coming out all over the floor.

Sounds like the machine is not at fault. The problem is probably the pipework that takes the water out of the building, it could be made up with lime & wash powder residue. Try running some water into the wall outlet pipe, & see if it overflows, if it does you need to dismantle & clean it

Water leaking from my Maytag Neptune model FAV6800AWW Serial number 15646382GA Leaks during wash cycle imediately and during complete cycle. Enough water to saturate 2-3 towels and clothes come out...

Could be a Tub Seal leak my 1st choice. Could also be a leak caused by a cracked outer tub, issues from the hoses from the drain line connections to the drain pump, drain pump and or drain line.

Are you going to try to DIY the fix?

Fischer & Paykel washer will not drain. What do I do?

take clothes out, check the hose for is it blocked or kinked put a clothes hanger in hose and see if you can un-snake any thing out, then put draino-max jel in washer and let it set for about 2-3hrs,see there may be hair blocking the pump were it drains, this stuff work great for front-loader so let it sit.then try putting on drain it may take a few times, the when it drains, run washer on full cycle no clothes hot-water let it go through a full wash cycle etc.

Water is not draining. I did pull out the washer drain hose and cleared but still not draining. Appears stuck in cycle. Water is sitting in the washer

Hi Friend, welcome to fixya.... This happens sometimes, usually when you stuff too many towels or clothes in the machine. Next time it happens, open the machine, and rearrange the clothes/towels with your hands.

Then turn the machine back on and start it where it left off, not simply popping the button back on, but turning it all around through a cycle and setting the button where you left it on 'rinse'. If it doesn't work simply by rearranging the clothes, pull out one or two wet towels and try again.

If it is due to over stuffing, the rinse cycle should drain and go into spin normally. If this doesn't work then call a maintenance person. It would be awful to have spent money only to find out from the maintenance man that it was an over stuffed machine the whole time;)
if you think that i helped you please rate it\\\\\\\\ thank u...

We think we overloaded the machine with bath mats and since then the water did not drain and the machine does not work any more. All buttons are flashing.

your pump is totaly clogged with the math matt sand
you should be able to access the pump from the rear wall,
bring towels you will loose water

remove both hoses from the pump and ensure they are clear, wash the drain hose completly run water through it

make sure you pump is clean and free
to spin

reassemble and and plug back in

errors should clear

Water on passenger floorboard

Iside the car,in the middle of the console is a shallow tray. Its job is to catch the codensation that drips off the aircon.Same as you see hoses coming off home aircons.this is what is in the car. There is a hose, about as thick as a finger, that drains the codensation out through the firewall of the car and into the rear of the engine bay to the ground. There may be 2 hoses. One either side if its a split catchtray. The hose has either been knocked off or is blocked.Usually blocked. The tray itself gets dirt in it and this is where 'gunk' can buildup over the drain hole.Find the hose and shoot some compressed air up the hose or run some line trimmer cord up there.Hope this helps

Side by side leaking water from under freezer side

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back/bottom of may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking into the freezer and down the vent into the fridge instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you need any further assistance. GE side by side Refr. water leaks under freezer side. seems to be connected to defrost cycle. water can be mopped up with paper towel. put small pan under fridge but does not capture water. Does not leak...

The drain is clogged in the freezer. Take off the back wall inside of the freezer, there is a drain in the bottom, use a turkey baster and hot water to clear all of the ice, pour hot water into the drain, put a piece of weed trimmer line down the hole and try and push the obstruction through, do not use a coat hanger or wire, you will puncture the drain tube and make bigger problems. Finish by pouring more hot water in and making sure it all goes down.

Washer does not remove water in final spin

If washer hums when it should spin, and the washer will not drain, you may have 2 issues.
First check that the drain pump, drain hose, and wall drain are free of debris.
The washer may not spin properly if the drain system is not operable.
Once you are sure the washer drain pump, drain lines, wall drain, and drain hose is okay, run a test wash.
If the washer hums but now drains, you fixed one issue.
If the washer still hums, you may have a bad belt, motor coupler, motor itself, etc...
Check parts for wear and replace as necessary.I pulled the drain impeller and found a sock from my little guy stuck in there. Fixed!
check all water outlets to make sure there is nothing blocking the pipes.
