try different games instead of one, could be the GBA [game boy advance] game that is broken! or it could be the DS slot for it so try using an other GBA game to see if it works! if not then see if you have a warrenty on it from the store you bought it from, warrentys should cover it if the other GBA games dont work on it! no warrenty i guess you could have nintendo fix it but im sure for a hefty price!
if it says no game inserted and theres a game in the slot,
this reallt worked
1 turn the ds off
2 take out the ds game
3 turn on the ds(remeber the game is out of the slot)
4 turn off the ds
5 carefully blow on the ds game all around
6 then blow in the slot were the ds game goes.
7 now put the ds game back into the slot.
8 now finaly trun on the ds and it should say theres a game in the slot
That's a different one, a repair service is available be here: www.console-spares.co.uk. Part is not available to buy separately. If you want to do it yourself, buy a faulty console off eBay, a normal DS will be cheaper and the game slot is compatible because its the same for both and take the one off the faulty console and put it on yours.
