U f---ed up. How come you have those two wires not attached to anything? Never like that in first place, was it?

Go over all you did or better still have some one with smarts go over your work and , hopefully, they will find what you did wrong.

1994 honda accord radio wont save settings.

If you have a multimeter or test light, try to find a wire that still has 12v when the key is off. Connect that wire to the yellow wire of the radio. The yellow wire has to have constant voltage going to it to maintain the memory.

I'm trying hook up an aftermarket car stereo and i cant figure out where to hook the orange and orange/orange and white wire. I need the factory wire diagram

http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii320/RonJ_HCF/picture_2980.jpg

The picture says it is for 1999-2000 models, but also works for 1998.

Honda does not have orange wires, i checked a Pioneer and it doesn't either. Could it be that the yellow wires look orangeish?

Be careful, because many aftermarket units have 3 power wires: Unswitched (memory cable), switched (power cable) and dimmed (match the dashboard illumination intensity). Also, most aftermarket units have a power out, to activate the power antenna. Connecting this cable in the wrong position will probably lead to a serious short.

Hello my name is Israel and I will help you out. The memory wire to the radio will be yellow and you will want to look for an orange wire from the vehicle that will give you constant +12 volts. Good Luck.

Dont know security code to tape deck for 97 honda accord

You will need to pull out the radio and look for the serial number. Call your nearest Honda Dealer and ask for service. They should be able to give you the code. Otherwise if your not the original owner, people sometimes write it on the back of the owners manual.

How to connect a pioneer super tuner to a 91 honda accord

With a DC voltage tester, check the two power leads for 12+ volts and proper operation, and be sure the unit is properly grounded.

The two power leads are,

1.Constant feed: which should be connected to an un-switched power source that delivers continuous
power to the units memory.

2.Switched feed: which should be connected to a switched power source controlled by the vehicles ignition switch.

Before installing in dash check unit for proper operation.

Good luck
