Scotsman provides a lot of service manuals for their ice machines. It will really help if you could provide a model number so I can possibly find the correct manual and information that just may help you, Thanks Sea Breeze

My indesit washing machine 12 hundred keeps flashing blue and red lights and won't do anything

Possible that the suspect could be the controller board, you can switch the machine off power for sometime, check the power outlet for the correct voltage. If not the front panel must be removed to check on the board and a possible fault of the processor or memory.

Power lights will not come on. There is power to the machine and when the switch cover is removed I can get the lights to come on but they will nopt stay on.

I extended the length of the button to the point where the switch is engaged as the problem is the switch will not keep the power on when depressed to its normal click on position. By getting the switch to an engaged power on position the machine will work. This is a temporary fix as the full fix is to replace the underlying on off switch

INDESIT WI101

hiya
these machines will do this if the timer dial has been moved during a cycle, they have a memory chip on the main circuit board.

they also do this if the machine has a fault with the exception that they dont stop, the doorlock light flashes and the timer just keeps clicking.

try setting the timer to a dot on the settings then switching the power on, the doorlock light will flash a few times, turn off again select program then switch back on, machine should now be reset and work ok, if not then count the flashes of the doorlock light as this indicates a fault code.

hope this helps
