SOURCE: OM 22 Toyostove shuts down with EE2 out of fuel

Did you check to make sure all fuel valves are open, specifically the safety valve on the back of the machine? The stem should be sticking up if this valve is open. Following that, make sure you have reset the float in the fuel feed by pushing the red button on the right side of the machine.

Kerosene heater toyostove rca36has wix full of kerosene and will not light

trim the carbon edge off the wick
wicks work by being saturated in kero and then burning off the kero and not the wick
what you have is a carbon block on the end of the wick that is preventing the kero ignition

I have an om-22 oil miser and am using it for 2 months. As soon as it turned 15 degrees outside the heater would not run. It says EE-22, but I cannot change anything on the front, nothing works. nothing...

EE 22 means it failed to light for 3 tries in a row. You have to unplug the heater for at least 30 minutes to reset this code. I don\'t know how cold it was before, but if this is the first time it has dropped below freezing I would suspect water in the fuel barrel or filter. Check the filter. You can also remove the line from the barrel then open the valve to see if any comes out. Catch what does come out so you can put it back in the barrel. Let me know what you find or if you need more help.

Lost manual stove is blinking code ee2

EE2 usually has to do with fuel flow but could also be a dirty flame rod which can be cleaned with some steelwool. You should check your filter and also the strainer in the heater. Have something to direct the kerosene that will come out of the strainer into a bowl or something or just have some rags or paper towels ready. You can find the owners manual at www.toyostove.com.

Getting code EE 2 on a laser 73 toyostove that runs on kerosene

EE 2 usually has to do with the fuel. Does the heater make a loud ticking or thumping sound? That's the sound the fuel pump makes when its not getting any fuel. Check your filter, check the strainer in the fuel sump. Depending on how cold it is any water in the fuel line could be frozen blocking the fuel flow. You might also check the flame rod for soot. It can be cleaned with some steel wool.([email protected])

My Toyostove OM-22 smells like exhaust gas in the room. I think its a gasket problem (fuel line looks OK; vent pipe is clean) I want to buy replacement gaskets for the burner, the flame sensor, etc....

There are some orings in the exhaust that might need replacing. Do you have a parts breakdown for the heater? I repair monitor and toyostove heaters and can get you the gaskets. I'm in NC. You can contact me at [email protected]

I have a toyo laser 56 stove. It is starting to make a moaning noise. what shoud i do?

Pilot,

You need to have a new mat put in the bottom of the burner. When this mat lifts, sometimes the flame will cause a moaning noise with a large yellow flame. A new mat and maybe a burner ring will fix ya.

OM 22 Toyostove shuts down with EE2 out of fuel code but it has fresh kerosene and a clean flame rod sensor. OM 22 is same as Laser 30 except it can run on fuel oil.

Toyostove L-73

I have used #2 in the summer. I have been told the difference between 1 and 2 is 1 has an additive so it won't free. I would use oil meant to be used as heating oil because it should be lower in sulfer.

Toyostove Laser 30 has error code EE 22

EE-22 means that the unit has tried three times to ignite. after this it goes into a "lockout" condition. remove the power and the computer will reset itself. it will then try to re-ignite. check for a fuel blockage, dirty filter etc. if there's water in your kerosene it will not fire! kerosene floats on top of water. bleed your system until you get kero and no water. use a gas additive to remove water. dry-gas will work. just empty the bottle's contents into your tank. on your computer type in toyostove error codes. this will take you to toyo's site and explains the error codes.
