I had this problem too, but after trying to remove the roller I decided to take it to a printer repairman and paid $80 to have it done for me.
SOURCE: Do you know a print server compatible with Epson
Hiya,
Any computer will do the job pretty much, all you need to is make sure the computer iscapable of functioning on a network and that it has the correct software installed on it. If it was me though, I would spend a few hundred to a thousand pounds on a decent high spec machine that is more powerful than the workstations that will also share the printer.
I hope this is of relevance and use to you, there are also a few places Iknow of that you might wish to check out for decent and budget servers. You will have to decide though, do you want to build your own, or have them pre-fabricated at factory level. For the record, D.I.Y. build is cheaper!

try these sites and see what suits you, also have a look on ebay and see what you think to the prices there.
Chat forums are another useful tool in your armoury. See what people say in the reviews, and then experiment.
I hope this is the fixya for you. Please do let me know how you get on with this, and if you have a ny further questions, feel free to get hold of me and I will help you with those. By the way, all comments are welcome too.
Many thanks and yourrs sincerely
