Motorola Tlkr T5 two-way radio can send but not receive

I have the motorola tlkr-t5, let's say unit A and B. Unit A shows the receive indicator continuously; unit B only when I press the PTT button on unit A.
Unit A can't receive unit B but unit B receives unit A perfectly well.
Can anyone tell me what's going on? Thanks!

The receive indicator is permanently on, on the TLDR-T5 so the walkie talkies only work one way. How do we fix this?

Check the buttons on the radio. One may be "jammed" especially the MON button. It would indicate receive all the time. Check for dirt around the button and case, it can surprise you what little can jam a button. I clean around the buttons with cotton swabs and alcohol. Be careful and do not use sharp objects to move the buttons back and forth, side to side, up and down. I suggest your fingers, or a dull letter opener or screwdriver, but little force. If the MON or other button does not release, you may need to take the case apart.

Motorola TLKR T3 one way not working but Monitor works...

Check your Private Line (aka interference eliminator code, tone code, PL, quiet call). It sounds like you have one radio set with a PL setting and the other one is open squelch (no private line). All settings for frequency and PL code need to be the same between the two radios.

We don't have a manual for the T3, but I am attaching one for the T5, which may be similar. http://www.motorola.com/web/Business/Products/Two-Way%20Radios%20-%20Unlicensed/_Documents/TLKR-T%20series/Static%20Files/T5%20Manual%20EU.pdf

Hi, i have 2 TLKR-T3 and i cant tune it ,so what can i do? and how can i reset it? thanks in advance

Try setting the radio back to a simple mode of operation. Shut off all special features such as the sub-code (interference eliminator code), VOX, room monitor, and call tones. Go to just one basic channel, such as channel one. Then check to see if the radios talk to one another. If not, check your battery packs, as it takes more energy to transmit than to receive. Swap battery packs and see if the problem moves to the other radio. And lastly, get a third radio involved to see if one of your radios is simply defective.

My TLKR-T3 does not work. One of them is possible only receive menssagem ( Receive the transmission ). So it is not possible to transmit zero messanger. Seems that the microphone is not...

Check your programming. The frequency and code must be identical on the two radios. Here is a link to the user guide http://www.gouldelectronics.co.uk/product-downloads/T5-20Manual-20EU.PDF

The description you give is indiciative of the code being set differently between the two radios. For basic operation set the code to off (zero).

TLK3 T3 Motorola permanent static noise

The "MONITOR" is probably stuck on. You can go to
http://www.mods.dk/manual.php?brand=motorola and login (its free) and download the manual and look for how to turn off the "MONITOR" function.
