Turned new machine on but water will not come through into coffee only into steamer side. The 2 lights flash on the steamer side to say that the steamer is in the open position and needs to be closed, but it is already closed and the lights only go out when the steamer knob is opened but this just sends water through the steamer, and when it is closed the lights come back on. Please help, thanks Damon Bird.
This is not a fix but it may be a way to at least get an espresso without milk. I opened the panel on the back and removed the to wires at the top of the circut panel. They are both fixed to a plug so all you have to do is gently pull. This turned of the steam/water function and the the water came through the head as it is suppose to. I did not get all the parts with mine so if anyone tries this please post the outcome. Remember to unplug the machine before you open the back. I will post the real fix if I figure it out.

Same one, bought it in 2006 yet never bothered to send it back for repair due to being lazy about sending in the payment receipts. Yet to see what to do with it, brand new machine by the way, or at least it's supposed to be new.
havin the same issue.
turn on, the steam and water lights flash even though the steam/water knob is turned to off possie.
when i turn the knob on still nothing comes out
frustrating
Exact problem with mine. I did get water to come through once but thats it. I bought it from ebay with some parts missing now I no why.
I ended up sending mine back to Bodum, they picked it up from my house took it away and delivered it back to me. They said it was a faulty circuit board which had to be replaced! hope this helps you, Damon!
