Canon c2880 streak across width of 8 1/2 X 14 paper when printed

Streaks occur about 4 inches from end of paper and are about 1-2 inches wide. Mostly cyan toner, but have seen other colors in with it. Have cleaned the toner cartridges and cartridge bays. Have replaced toner cartridges.

I am having some very large, consistent streaks that just run across some of the top of my pages. If I print or copy out 20 pages only three or four will have this streak. It looks more like a stamping...

Sounds as though the fixing film assembly ( FM2-1793-020 ) in the fuser has developed a build up of toner causing what is normally called offset. You may also have to replace the lower pressure roller ( FC5-7207-010 ) also. You will have to remove the right side covers, door, and then the fuser assembly. Rebuilding the fuser has some challenges until you've done it a couple of times. Good Luck.

I have Minolta 2300W Laser Printer and it folds the first page only about 3 to 4 inches down makes a nice one inch fold but take that out and print again...next page fine.....now printing with two wide...

The is blocked by dust on the side of the paper on the image unit that would have color associated with the print. Remove all the image units and clean all the laser glass. Replace those image units also if streaking as for the paper ensure correct paper side and media type.

White bands on color photo prints

Perform Print Head Alignment Instructions to perform a Print Head Alignment directly from the machine. If diagrams or ruled lines are misaligned, print head alignment is required. The print head alignment can be performed automatically or manually. If the automatic print head alignment does not work, adjust the print head manually. Automatic Print Head Alignment
  1. Press <ON/OFF> to turn on the machine.

  2. Load a few sheets of letter-sized plain paper in the auto sheet feeder.

  3. Press the Open button to open the Paper Output Tray. Then open up and set the extension by pressing down the hollow on the front side.

  4. Execute automatic print head alignment.
    1. Press <COPY> button.
    2. Press <Menu> repeatedly to select [MAINTENACE].
    3. Press the left or right cursor to select [AUTO HEAD ALIGN], then press the <OK>. (A pattern is printed and the print head is automatically aligned. It takes about five minutes to finish printing the pattern.)

  2. Load two sheets of Letter-sized plain paper in the auto sheet feeder or cassette.

  3. Ensure that the proper paper source is selected.

  4. Execute manual print head alignment.
    1. Press <Menu> repeatedly to select [MAINTENACE].
    2. Press the left or right cursor to select [ALIGN PRINT HEAD], then press the <OK>. (The nozzle check pattern is printed.)

  5. Check the printed patterns and use the left or right arrow to input the number of the pattern in column A that has the least noticeable streaks.
