Thermador RDSS30 Cooktop works fine. Oven will not turn on. Any button pushed says ''OFF''

Thermador are top of the range appliances and they don't expect you to repair them yourself, you call for a service engineer. Service manuals are hard to come by. There is a service manual for a wall oven and the control panel may be similar. They look to have mounting clips. The buttons are proximity detectors, so not conductive.

They are made by Whirlpool so this might help. Wherever you got the board from should supply the instructions on the same way that Repair Clinic do.

Has it been smelling of gas recently? That usually indicates your lp gas cylinder is almost empty.

Here is the part to order.

Close the valve in the gas line connected to the Thermador oven. Unplug the cooktop's electrical cord from the wall outlet.
Remove the screws under the front edge of the Thermador cooktop below the cabinet to release the cooktop from the countertop.

Put on work gloves then raise the cooktop at an angle. Recruit a friend to hold up the appliance while you work on the igniter underneath. The igniter is a pronged strip of black metal in a housing wired with two plugs connected to power sockets underneath the Thermador cooktop.

Disconnect the two wired plugs on the end of the igniter from the sockets.
Take out the two screws in the metal plate that hold the igniter in position under the Thermador cooktop. Pull the igniter out of the mounting bracket in the cooktop.
Hold the new igniter by the housing and insert the part into the mounting bracket. Secure it with the two screws.
Connect the two wired plugs to the sockets. One plug is larger than the other, which makes it simple to connect them correctly.

Lower the Thermador cooktop into position on the countertop and reattach it with the screws through the underside of the front edge.
Plug in the cooktop's power cord and open the valve in the gas line.

Turn the main knob counter clock wise until the display reads "clock", then turn the same knob clockwise to set the time. When done, push the select button.

try to clean a little bit the head of the sparkler and push the button for gas a little bit longer

I have a Thermador Gas Range PG364GDBS - Oven, 4 burners, and center griddle. All are gas. The four burners and gas oven work fine. The griddle just stopped working, no spark. Turning on the griddle control, the gas valve opens(hear it), gas flows (smell it), but the ignitor will not spark (no loud or faint spark that I can hear). I got a replacement ignition device (mount at the burner) thinking it might be the problem, but still no spark. I checked the AC voltage at the terminal and measured 39 VAC between the terminal and ground. Not sure if that is the correct voltage. Any insights or advice would be great.

I am quoting above because I really need help. "When I push any of the function buttons on the oven console (Timer, Bake, Broil, Clock) the display shows 0FF in red next to the clock. The oven will not turn on and the timer will not work. I can not find any troubleshooting information on this problem. The oven is a model RDDS30V. Any help would be greatly appreciated!"

sounds like a wiring problem check your power source
