Do you have your owners manual for your wii? It sounds like you need to resync the remotes back to your machine. Maybe you can try to power on the wii at the machine and press a couple of buttons to see if it will auto detect and help you resync them. If not repost and I will try to get you the directions to do so and I will post them

If you left dead batteries in them they may of leaked into your controllers. try cleaning them with a cotton swab and alchol make sure you dry them good then put in new fresh batteries and try again.. if this doesnt work you may need a new controller...never leave batteries in a remote if your not going to use it for awhile

Why is lights blinking on wii controller

that means that the wii remote it out of reach (the light that human eyes cannot see is not seen) or you don't have the sensor plugged in,
or the black thing on top is dirty, and you need to clean it for it to work.
(this won't help if your wii is not responding to the wii remote.)

How to snychronize a Wii Remote to the Wii console

A lot of people have trouble synchronizing their Wii Remotes to their Wii console. I have written a short tutorial on how to do this.

Figure out which scenario is similar to yours and proceed with the solution-

1) When you turn on the Wii console and press any button on the remote no lights light up at all. This is because the remote is dead, you must replace the batteries in the battery compartment on the underside of the remote. If the controller is using a charge pack you need to put the controller on its charger.

2) When you turn on the Wii console and press a button on the controller all four lights blink a couple times then turn off. This means the controller is not synchronized. If your controller has ever been previously synchronized all you need to do is press the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time and it will sync up.

3) If option 2 doesn't work then this means you are preforming a first time synchronization with the remote. While the Wii console is turned on you should open the little compartment that is just below the disc tray. Then you should press the little red button. After pressing the red button you should open your Wii Remotes battery compartment, remove the batteries and press a similar little red button inside of the compartment. Put the batteries back into the controller and the controller should be synchronized!

If none of these solutions are working then the problem is a technical issue with either the Wii remote or the Wii system, you should contact technical support for more information.

I hope this helped with the synchronization of Wii Remotes!
My wii remote syncs, but won't stay on for game play

Sounds like a dead battery, if you are using a battery pack try switching it out for fresh batteries and see if that works.

The wii remote is not working cause the light is not showing .

1. Check the batteries in the Wii remote. 2. Synch the Wii Remote with the Wii Again.
If you are trying to play as a guest. You'll have to let the Wii Remote that is partnered with that machine power it up, and then hit the home button on that Remote and you'll see the batteries aat the bottom of the screen. Click the Wii Remote there.. and then resynch.

Controllers glitching on the tv

We used to have the same problem. We have our TV in the corner of the rec room, with windows on either side of the TV. Turns out that the sunlight coming in through the windows was interfering with the functionality of the Wii remotes. All we had to do was hang some heavy drapes to close while we are playing and that was the end of the problem. If you have any bright sources of light which might relfect in the Wii remotes or the Wii remote bar (receiver of the Wii remotes), turn them off, or block the light.
