I am looking to purchase a spare sliding window kit for my DPAC 13009 Danby portable air conditioner. I have two patio doors ( no windows ) in my apartment and I would like to have the kit set up at all times on both patio doors.
No solution possible, given that the air ducts going up over the patio doors are quite an eyesore. This building is entirely fieldstone outside, so either the patio doors or windows above them are the only way to go in or out.
We will return the unit and get instead one that can be placed in the upper window and activated by remote control. Thanks.

Remove your remote control on the unit, follow the manual step by step. First, do the emergency on/off button, then operate the air conditioning using the remote control, follow the procedure of your manual.You may notice a clicking sound of your remote control. The yellow/green color of your emegency on/off button will turn to blue. Do not put it back your remote control on the unit because he may sense the temperature of the vent, and your air conditioning will not stay on, it will shut off every five minutes. these portable units will usually have a knob reading from low to high. set it about half way and adjust as needed. half way is usually low 70's
