If you are on 230 volt UK mains the fuse required to go on the power control board at the position labeled FS1 is a 20mm x 5mm cartridge rated as a fast (or quick) blow 10 amp 230v. It is available from Maplin electronic stores and online. It is listed under their code GJ98G for a box of 10 priced at £2.29. Don't expect to get your MOT18 working by simply replacing this fuse since it's purpose is to protect against component faults in the power board circuitary or the motor. Checking for a motor fault is relatively simple. Your nose should tell you if a winding has burnt out. The other possible problem with this motor is worn out brushes. Viewed from the front of the treadmill you will see a pair of round black brush holders at the right hand end of the motor. Unscrew the recessed cap of the one at the top and carefully withdraw the spring loaded brush assembly. Do not remove this completely since it is important that it is not turned round before replacement. Brushes bed in on to the rotating communtator and will experience unneccesary wear if not replaced correctly. Anything over about 10mm in length will probably be OK. The other brush wear should be similar and you probably won't have to check it - it's awkward to get at anyway. The circuit board appears to be a chopped DC power supply and is currently awaiting my attentions. If I come up with any answers I'll post them in response to all the "won't work" enquires and update this reply.
