if there is no paper inside then one of the sensors are broken thats why it is indicating the paper jam sign. check the fusing unit. the paper must be inside that unit and its hard to see. fusing unit is the unit before the paper exit unit or from where the paper comes out.
no, it does have a fuse, try to unplug the cable and leave it unplug for a couple of minutes, secure the power cable, if still the same, its a hardware issue.
Buy a pack of 10 x .062A (1/16A) pico fuse RS part No 738-3062. Switch off printer. Remove the drum and toner together from the drum slot to be reset. Carefully crimp the legs of the fuse around the contact wires on the right side of the drum slot. Make sure fuse legs are making a good connection to the wires and aren't touching the frame. switch on printer and allow it to detect the absence of the drum. Switch off printer and carefully remove the now blown fuse. Re-install the toner and drum assemnbly. Drum life is now reset. see pic:
You cant do it via admin code or software.
Inside every part is a little green picofuse.
When the printer starts, it looks for continuity. If present, it burns the fuse and resets the corresponding counter.
If you want to be creative, you can replace the little fuse. Easiest done in belt and fuser. Almost impossible in drums. Or one might construct a little device with a fake fuse to insert between the part and the corresponding connector.
