I have a RCA remote control and dont know how to set it up to my sonny tv.

This remote is probably good for the RCA tv and will not control the Sony tv unless it is a programmable type remote,if this is the case there might be a small guide that will show you how to set codes for other products inside of the battery cover,if this is not the case then you can purchase a universal remote that will control your Sony tv...hope this helps...good luck!!!

How to unlock ASM in SANSUI SV-2010K

Universal remote codes for Sansui TV with RCA RCR311B remote control are:
1020, 1054, 1133, 1145, 1167, 1230
But I really don't understand to what do you mean by this ASM lock. ASM [Automatic Search Memory] is meant for tuning fuction. When we put the set to ASM mode, it should search all the available programmes at that time at appropriate chanels, and will stop; must stop; at the end of the tuning is over, and must show the first received programme. Then we can change the programmes as our own select. If ASM function does not works with your TV as specified above, surely its memory IC is in trouble; damaged; and should replace it with same type and number. This IC is an eight terminal one, can be located very near to main system control IC of your set. OK.
