Left speaker problem with X-240 Logitech Speaker / Subwoofer Sys.

Received system new as a gift and worked fine for months as an adjunct to an HDTV setup. Now the left channel output from the sub-woofer is bad. I isolated this by plugging the two speakers directly to a clean sound source and they responded identically; okay. So, what to do? Any suggestions out there (here)? Anybody have a fix before this heads to the trash heap? Thanks in advance.... KGO

Hello, My logitech x-230 2.1 speaker system is not producing any sound. The power light comes on but no sound at all comes from any speaker. Also, it is not the computers fault because I have used it with...

If there is an ON/OFF switch at the back of your 2.1 speakers, then switch it on. Or is the VOLUME control set at 0? Turn it up a bit.

Or, are the left & right speakers properly hooked to the subwoofer unit?
Please check.

Logitech THX Z-2300 only one speaker works. theres something wrong with the input. both speakers work fine but the 1 of the inputs on the subwoofer stopped working, causing only one speaker 2 work

try tapping the speaker box in your palm while the speaker is connected. There might be a bad contact of the wires inside. I had to open up my speaker to find that out. i moved around the wires connected to the cone of the speaker and then started to hear music once i did that. it was the left speaker by the way.

Subwoofer sound only

Try agitating the controller (w/ the power button and volume control) and the speaker(s) that was out should immediately turned back on.

Subwoofers not working on Logitech R-20 speakers; worked until recently

There must be a control on subwoofer, like a volume control. Turn it and check it. Also check the connections.

Connect DVD Player to logitech X 540 Surround System

Bad connection on that one speaker, if you have tested the system with other equipment and it works thn you MUST have a bad connection INSIDE you DVD player. If your DVD had a whole channel out on your output amplifier I beleive then 2 speakers would not work so more than likely you have a bad solder joint inside system for DVD output

Surround Sound Center Speaker/Sound Card issue

You need to use a digital interface cable between the sound card and the speakers to get all of the 6 channels to work properly.
