That usb is usually for keyboard or mouse, interesting that you got it to work. It would depend on if android has a driver for the Ethernet adapter built in. Any reason why you are not using the wifi?

Testimonial: "Thanks Mark, with wifi I found online streaming of TV is bit slow, using ethernet it gets smoother. The dongle suopports and has a driver for ethernet connection using USB adapter. I am not sure though if the dongle is able to supply the 4.2 to 5.5V operating power required for the usb ethernet adapeter."

Hi,

You cannot install this adapter in a Win 7 computer because the drivers are not compatible with Win 7.
So far Belkin haven't updated the drivers for win 7 OS. The latest drivers for this adapter is compatible only with

" Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP 32-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit "

Click here to see the belkin compatible drivers in the website.

beware though, the only review on this one says it did not work with his Android 4.4.4 operating system. I don't know what version you have, but if it is android, it would seem to me to be unlikely to accept network I/O thru the usb whereas a normal PC would.

How to connect digitech high powered wireless router YN-8330

You may have problems getting this device to register on you network due to the available subnet.

You need to check what IP address range your existing router uses first, then connect the digtech directly to a laptop via ethernet cable, go to the default address (192.1.0.1), log in using admin/admin and reconfigure the router address to one within the acceptable range of your router..

I just configured one of these on both a TP-Link router, and on a Thompson router.
For the TP-Link (Base IP 192.1.1.1) I set the digitech to 192.1.1.100 (easy for me to remember).
For the Thompson (Base IP 10.0.0.1) I set the digitech to 10.0.0.100 (same principle).
Note: you can use any IP that is within the network range of your router.

Also remember to write down the new device ID and put it in a safe place (email to yourself or stick on the back of the router)

Other than this, all config is like any other router.

Digitech rp3 fx pedal too much voltage wont turn on

Usually the manuf. have diodes used as protection against over voltage or adapter polarity issues. Try the correct adapter (sleeve and tip have specific voltage polarity...check for drawing denoting each) and if it fails to power the unit up, it's probably time for Digitech authorized repair.

My digitech rp 500 has power supply but it won't

Make sure you have the OFFICIAL Digitech power adapter. Universal adapters or those for MOST other pedals will NOT work... things may light up but you will NOT get audio. This unit requires an adapter supplying 9 VAC (not DC) at about 1 amp. These AC output adapters are not very common and people get the units without an adapter and try using universal adapters and they do not work. An AC adapter is used by Digitech so they can generate both plus and minus voltages internally. I don't know what your utility power voltage is in Cebu, so you need to get an adapter for your voltage that will give 9 VAC output and fit the power jack on the unit.
